1. What OwnOutright is

OwnOutright sells practical small-business tools — currently Invoice & Warranty, Quotes & Estimates, Inventory Manager, Simple CRM, and Expense Tracker — each as a one-time purchase. When you buy a tool (or the Bundle), it appears in your private vault, which you reach through a unique vault URL.

2. Your license

Purchasing a tool grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use that tool for your own business. The Bundle grants a license to all five current tools. A license covers the v1.x product family — including ongoing updates to the tools you bought and, where included with your purchase, the offline desktop apps — and does not expire for as long as OwnOutright operates.

3. What you may do

Use the tools you've purchased to run your own business — create invoices and quotes, track warranties, manage inventory, keep customer records, and log expenses. You may access your vault from any device using your vault URL.

4. What you may not do

You may not share your vault URL so that others can use the tools commercially, resell or sublicense your license, reverse engineer the software, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

5. Your data

The business data you enter — invoices, quotes, customers, products, inventory, expenses, and settings — is stored in an isolated database tied to your vault. We do not sell or share it, and you can export it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Trials

A free 30-day trial gives full access to Invoice and Quotes, with no card required. An optional $15 "test ride" extends that access to 90 days and is credited toward a later purchase. When a trial ends, your vault becomes read-only until you buy — your work is preserved.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Because your data is always exportable, you keep your records even during downtime. Planned maintenance will be communicated where possible.

8. Limitation of liability

OwnOutright is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
